Flower and Garden Festival
March 5th - June 2nd, 2025

The 2025 International Flower and Garden Festival will return to EPCOT on Wednesday, March 5th through Monday, June 2nd. As an added bonus, this year the park is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the festival!
Epic Universe

Universal Orlando Resort
It wouldn't be a proper Walt Disney World timeline without discussing Orlando's newest theme park opening just 12 miles down the road - Universal's Epic Universe. Featuring popular Intellectual Properties like Nintendo, Universal Monsters, and more, the highly anticipated theme park is about to change the entertainment landscape in Central Florida for decades to come.


Spaceship Earth Lounge
Late Spring 2025
EPCOT; World Celebration
A new bar and lounge themed to the iconic geodesic sphere will be opening right behind Spaceship Earth in late Spring, with Memorial Day weekend being most likely. The new zen space will offer sweeping views of World Celebration and the nightly fireworks shows as guests enjoy a unique atmosphere with a "mysterious and elegant intimacy."
Disney Starlight: Dream

Magic Kingdom Park
After 9 long years of not having one, the Magic Kingdom will finally debut a brand new nighttime parade in the Summer of 2025! Disney Starlight will feature a kaleidoscope of colorful Disney characters in ways you've never seen them before, all led by the powerful magic of the Blue Fairy.


The Little Mermaid: A
Musical Adventure

Hollywood Studios; Animation Courtyard
A reimagined version of the former Voyage of the Little Mermaid stage show will soon debut at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Based off the classic 1989 Walt Disney Animation Studios film, the show will combine the latest technology, stunning sets, and new choreography to bring the tale we all know and love to life.
Disney Villains: Unfairly

Hollywood Studios; Sunset Boulevard
The Sunset Showcase theater will soon be home to a brand new comedic stage show featuring your favorite Disney villains. The Magic Mirror will be summoning fiendish foes like Maleficent, Jafar, Hades, Yzma, Ursula, Scar, and more in this new live production.


McKim's Mile House - A Disney Vacation Club Lounge
Summer 2025
Magic Kingdom; Frontierland
A cozy and rustic new space exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members will debut in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom. The “McKim” name is a nod to Disney Legend Sam McKim, a former Disney Imagineer whose visionary artwork helped shape some of Disney’s most iconic places in Frontierland across multiple Disney parks.

Test Track 3.0 - Presented

EPCOT; World Discovery
The third iteration of the popular Test Track will be coming back to EPCOT in late Summer! Imagineers say that this reimagined attraction will take lots of inspiration from the original World of Motion attraction that used to be at the park. Test Track 3.0 will also be reverting back to its original General Motors sponsorship upon its reopening.
Pirates of the Caribbean

Late 2025
Magic Kingdom; Adventureland
A new tavern inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean is setting sail in late 2025 at the Magic Kingdom! Located in Caribbean Plaza right across from Tortuga Tavern, this new space will immerse guests further into the daring story of the infamous swashbucklers that rule the high seas.


Zootopia: Better Zoogether!
Winter 2025
Animal Kingdom; Discovery Island
A new 3D show is coming to the Tree of Life theater in the Winter of 2025, featuring Walt Disney Animation Studio's hit film, Zootopia. Planned to coincide with the theatrical release of Zootopia 2 in November, the show will breathe some new "life" (see what I did there?) into the theater.
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

The most festive of EPCOT's festivals will make its annual return sometime in the Winter of 2025, shortly after the conclusion of the Food and Wine Festival in November. We're still awaiting official festival dates, so be sure to visit this page again soon in the future!

New Missions on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run
May 22nd, 2026
Hollywood Studios; Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
Brand new missions are coming soon to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, featuring the Mandalorian! Set to debut right alongside the feature film of "The Mandalorian and Grogu", the new missions will feature thrilling action-packed adventures that's sure to add some much needed variety to the attraction.


Disney's Lakeshore Lodge
Spring 2027
Magic Kingdom Resort Area
Projected to open sometime in 2027, a brand new Deluxe Disney Resort is being constructed right along the shores of Bay Lake. Situated right in between Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds and Wilderness Lodge, the new hotel will fuse a modern aesthetic with the unique majesty of nature to create a whole new Disney Resort experience. Recent construction permits indicate a potential completion date of March of 2027, but remains unconfirmed by Disney.

The Tropical Americas

Animal Kingdom; Dinoland U.S.A
Dinoland U.S.A will soon be completely transformed into a new land themed around South and Central America. Featuring brand new attractions with Disney IP's from the region - including Encanto and Indiana Jones - guests will begin their adventure by stepping into the small town of Pueblo Esperanza, which translates to "Village of Hope." In addition to the two major E-Ticket attractions in the land, visitors will also have the opportunity to take a ride on a festive carousel and taste delicious regional cuisine in a large Hacienda. Get excited for a bold new chapter at Disney's Animal Kingdom, as this 11-acre land will be the park's biggest expansion since Pandora: The World of Avatar in 2017.








Monsters Inc. Land

Hollywood Studios; Grand Avenue
New doors are opening soon for Disney and Pixar's Monsters Inc. - all in a brand new land at Disney's Hollywood Studios! The land will be replacing Grand Avenue where the Muppets are currently situated and will feature a new theater show, themed dining, and a major E-Ticket attraction that will boast to be the first-ever suspended rollercoaster in a Disney park. Work is expected to begin on this new land in 2025.


Rock 'n' Roller Coaster - Starring Electric Mayhem
In Development
Hollywood Studios; Sunset Boulevard
In order to make way for Mike and Sulley, the Muppets will be moving over to Sunset Boulevard and taking over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster! The rethemed coaster will be starring Doctor Teeth and his band, Electric Mayhem, as they prepare for a rockin' musical escapade around Hollywood.


Disney and Pixar's Cars in Frontierland

Magic Kingdom; Frontierland
Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom is about to undergo some massive changes, as the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island are set to be leveled and replaced with not one, but two new Cars attractions. One will be a thrilling outdoor rally race as guests explore the American wilderness along rugged terrain and uncharted paths, while the second attraction will be geared more towards younger guests and families. According to Disney, ground will break for this major new addition in early 2025.




Disney Villains Land

Magic Kingdom Park
After decades of circulating along the rumor mill in the Disney community, it has been officially confirmed that an all new land themed around Disney Villains will be coming to the Magic Kingdom! The area will be situated north of Frontierland and will feature two new major E-Ticket attractions, themed shopping and dining, character meet and greets, and more. The land will be an amazing culmination of Disney storytelling on an incredibly dark, twisted, and grand scale and will be "a fearless new vision for what a Disney experience can be.” As if this wasn't exciting news enough, the land, along with the rest of Magic Kingdom's future plans, will represent the largest expansion to the park in its entire history.

New Missions on Star Tours - The Adventures Continue
April 5th, 2024
Hollywood Studios; Echo Lake
Back in April, new missions were introduced to Star Tours - The Adventures Continue. Now, guests have the chance to experience their favorite Star Wars missions with some new and familiar characters, including the Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano, and Andor.


CommuniCore Hall and Plaza
June 10th, 2024
EPCOT; World Celebration
The multiyear transformation of EPCOT was officially earmarked as complete upon the opening of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza - the final piece of the EPCOT overhaul. The multipurpose facility acts as a permanent festival center for all of EPCOT's year-round offerings, with special food, merchandise, and entertainment.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure
June 28th, 2024
Magic Kingdom; Frontierland
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is the reimagined attraction of the former Splash Mountain. Guests embark on a musical water-thrill ride to help Tiana prepare for a Mardi Gras celebration at her restaurant. As we journey through the Bayou, guests encounter familiar faces like Mama Odie and Louis the Alligator.


The Country Bear Musical Jamboree

The Country Bear Jamboree we all know and love has recently reopened with a brand new act! Join Henry and the gang for "a wild and wooly good time" as the bears sing some of your favorite Disney songs with a southern and humorous twist.
The Island Tower

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
A major expansion to the Polynesian recently debuted along the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon - the Island Tower. Boasting incredible waterfront views of the Magic Kingdom, this new Disney Vacation Club wing takes a more modern approach towards the tropical oceanic theme, infused with Polynesian culture and cuisine.
